- 01Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous growths that develop from the muscle tissue of the uterus. They can vary greatly in size, number, and location. Some women have a single fibroid, while others may have multiple fibroids. Fibroids can grow slowly over time, remain stable for years, or occasionally grow more rapidly.

- 03Many women with fibroids experience heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, pelvic pressure, frequent urination, constipation, lower back pain, abdominal bloating, or discomfort during intercourse. Some women may also experience fertility challenges or anemia caused by heavy blood loss. In some cases, fibroids cause no symptoms at all.
